Double signing announcement

Swindon Supermarine FC are delighted to announce the contract extension for manager Bobby Wilkinson until the end of at least the end of the 2028/29 season. This coincides with the confirmation that Chairman Jez Webb will stay for at least the same period of time.

Jez commented, “ I am delighted that Bobby has agreed to commit to the club until at least the end of the 2028/29 season. He has delivered on everything he promised when we met 18-months ago, together with his management team and the board of directors, we have made good progress both on and off the field over the period he has been at the club.

I am buoyed that after a challenging season last year, we have started this season really well and this is a testament to the tireless work Bobby has put in since he has been with us.

Personally, I am really looking forward to seeing where Bobby can take us and I am enjoying being at the helm of the club through these positive times, it has given a renewed energy to commit to the club for at least the next couple of years“.

Bobby commented, “This is such fantastic news, I have loved my time at the club and I’m so pleased to be given the opportunity to continue with the project over a longer period of time. The professionalism and standards we have introduced are starting to match our fantastic facilities. To have Jez staying for the longer term, the full support of the board and the encouragement of my management team, fans, volunteers and players – there is no place I would rather be”.
