Swindon Supermarine are delighted to confirm the return of goalkeeper, Fiachra Pagel on an initial one month loan deal from Forest Green Rovers.

Pagel, affectionately known as ‘Pags’, became an influential part of Stuart Fleetwood’s side at the tail end of last season, helping the side secure survival on the final day, keeping three clean sheets in the process, as well as a number of point saving performances as Marine battled to beat the drop.

Fleets was delighted with finalising the loan deal for Pags and told club media “It’s a player we know well and knows us. Dan Brabham has been excellent when called upon in Luke Purnell’s absence and he will remain a key player in our squad.

Luke is a few weeks away from returning from injury after dislocating his shoulder, meaning Pags will offer a good option to boost our squad and work with Brab’s to compete for the Number 1 spot“.

Pags will be available for selection ahead of our Boxing Day game with Gloucester City and his first home game back with us could be against Hanwell Town on Saturday 28th December.
