Preseason UPDATE 5

Manager Lee Spalding is pleased to announce another change and a welcomed addition to our preseason games. Our annual preseason game with Swindon Town, which was sadly missed last season due to Covid-19, is back in calendar for preseason 2020/21.

The encounter will take place on Tuesday 6th July with a 7:30pm kick off. Ticket prices will be announced nearer the date and a decision whether to pay at the turnstile or an all ticket match is dependent on Covid-19 guidelines after the government’s next press release on the easing of lockdown restrictions on June 21st. Details will be published on the club website and social media platforms when known.

Covid-19

Of course, the return to preseason training and friendly matches is dependant on the position with the Government’s planned roadmap for a return to playing fixtures in front of spectators, so these dates in the diary may have to be changed.

Fingers crossed that we can return to our preseason friendlies in front off our wonderful sponsors, supporters and friends at the Webbswood Stadium currently planned for July 6th.
