Hungerford Town v Marine Preview:

We end the month with a big derby fixture against the Crusaders and a short trip in to West Berkshire, kick off 3:00pm.

Hungerford Town manager Danny Robinson described his sides performance as absolutely woeful following their 6-2 defeat at Plymouth Parkway last weekend as he promised they would pay for things during training on Tuesday and Thursday and promised to put a smile back on his fans faces against Swindon Supermarine this weekend.

“Our home form, apart from last week has been brilliant,” he told his clubs media team in his post match interview. “We are good at home, but we need to go away and have two good training sessions and iron out the faults that we found today and get ready because Swindon Supermarine are on an upward trajectory as well – they’ve got better and better under Fleets so it’s going to be very tough.”

Indeed, our hosts enter the game on the back of two straight defeats, 1-0 vs Chesham United and then the result at Plymouth Parkway last week, but having gone 17 games undefeated previously they will be looking to get their season back on track as they bid to reach the play-off places.

Meanwhile, speaking after Tuesday evenings narrow defeat in Poole, Head Coach Stuart Fleetwood looked ahead to Saturday saying: “It’s another tough game – this has been a tough run of fixtures with Walton & Hersham last week, Poole tonight then Hungerford away and then AFC Totton at home Saturday week, so it’s tough but it seems that every time we’ve had a loss, we pick it up again so we’ll just have to go again.“
