An Open Letter from the Chairman
Dear Supporters,
The Supermarine name became known throughout the world because ordinary people came together to achieve something extraordinary.
The aircraft built in Swindon, first by Vickers and later by Supermarine, were never the work of one individual. They were the product of thousands of people, each contributing skill, commitment and pride to something far greater than themselves.
Our football club has always been built in that same spirit.
For generations, Swindon Supermarine has relied on supporters, volunteers, sponsors and local businesses – each playing their part in helping the club grow, compete and serve its community.
Today, that responsibility belongs to all of us.
Football at Step Four of the non-league pyramid has never been more challenging. Rising travel costs, increasing investment in our facilities to meet ground-grading requirements and the need to remain competitive on the pitch all place significant demands on the club’s finances.
That is why we are launching The Propeller Club Monthly Draw as part of our Keeping Marine Flying campaign.
Why “The Propeller Club“?
The name has been chosen deliberately.
A propeller is a vital part of an aircraft. Without it, the aircraft cannot move forward.
Our football club is no different.
Every supporter, every volunteer, every sponsor and every member helps keep Swindon Supermarine moving forward.
For just £5 per number each month, you will have the chance to win cash prizes while also providing the regular income the club needs to invest in its future.
