Swindon Supermarine FC are delighted to announce the services of manager, Stuart Fleetwood and assistant manager, Dan Gillespie, on a two year deal.
Affectionately known at the club as Fleets and Gilly, the duo helped mastermind a “Great Escape” on the final day of the 2023/2024 season, after joining the club in September 2023 with Marine languishing at the foot of the Southern League Premier Division table with a solitary point.

Playing a distinctive style of football, that has entertained many fans, and garnered praise from many of the other clubs in the league, Stuart and Dan’s leadership saw the side pick up 48 points and finished with a goal difference of +1 since coming in the door, taking notable scalps against eventually champions Chesham United, and playoff sides Gosport Borough and Bracknell Town along the way, as well as important results with the sides among us.
With the focus now on building a solid squad for the 2024/25 season, we cannot wait to see what happens next.
Both Stuart and Dan will be in attendance at our end of season presentation evening this Saturday at the Webbswood Stadium where you will be able to speak with them and pass on your congratulations.
