BONUS CUP TIE THIS WEDNESDAY

Here is a BONUS game for fans wanting to catch Marine in action this week as we replay our FA Cup First Qualifying Round tie on Wednesday night, kick off 7:45pm, when we take on Willand Rovers after the 1-1 draw in Devon at the weekend.

Willand Rovers under boss Dave Steele, who despite being a step lower division wise have still not lost this campaign proved to be stubborn opposition on Saturday. They showed there were a team not to lie down easily and Marine will need to step it up a gear from the weekend to gain advancement. There is a big incentive to get through the midweek encounter too after the victors were assured of a home time against either Wimborne Town or Dorchester Town after they also drew their match at the weekend.

Key man for Rovers is on loan from Weston-super-Mare is Bailey Kempster who produced some an excellent range of passes against us last time out, including an assist for the well taken goal by Hall.

Marine boss Lee Spalding had this to say

“It’s all to play for - a home draw in the next round is a real positive, we need to make sure we put in a good performance in front of the home fans on Wednesday as we seek to get into the next round of the prestigious tournament that is the FA Cup. Sure to be a great watch – see you there!” COME ON MARINE!!

After our official launch of our 30th anniversary souvenir bottled beer two weeks ago, named appropriately ‘Supermarine Gold’, we continue to sell our commemorative beer in the clubhouse bar for £4.00 a bottle.
