Michael is a Marine
Swindon Supermarine Football Club is delighted to confirm the signing this morning of highly rated attacker, Michael Fernandes.
Michael has joined Marine with a wealth of experience, having most recently played for Hayes & Yeading United as well as previous spells with National South side Farnborough, EFL side Colchester United along with Hungerford Town, Dartford and Hampton & Richmond Borough amongst others.
Michael has scored five goals this season, including a leveller against Marine back in November for Hayes & Yeading United and is available for selection for today’s home match against Plymouth Parkway.
Marine boss Stuart Fleetwood told club media, “Michael is a player I’ve admired for a long time. He can play in a number of positions for us. To have Levi Irving depart in midweek and bring in a player of Michael’s quality is serious business. I can’t wait to see him in a Marine shirt”.
