Mehew signs for Marine

Swindon Supermarine and Stuart Fleetwood are thrilled to announce the signing of attacker, Olly Mehew, on a one year contract, after his release from Southern League rivals, Merthyr Town.

26 year old Olly brings with him, a CV stacked with experience and versatility after spells at Forest Green Rovers, Dorchester Town, Taunton Town and Weston-super-Mare to name a few.

Fleets told club media “Olly is a quick, direct player that will add goals and threat to our attack. Comfortable in various positions, a player I know well and understand how to get the best out of him. He’ll be a fans favourite with moments of brilliance. It’s a fantastic signing by the club”.

Fans will no doubt remember the performances Olly put in against us last season, scoring twice, in a very talented Merthyr side and we are very much looking forward to seeing Olly in a Marine shirt for 2024/25. Welcome to the Webbswood Olly, we can’t wait for you to get started!
