Simmo signs for next season

Swindon Supermarine are delighted to confirm that leading goalscorer from last season Dave Sims-Burgess, has agreed terms and will be back at the Webbswood Stadium ahead of the 2024/25 season.

Simmo joined Marine from Taunton Town in October 2023 and went on to make 30 appearances in all competitions and scored 15 goals as he helped turn the clubs fortunes around. ‘Simmo’ scored both goals to kick start our campaign with a win against Chesham United, and became a fans favourite from there on.

Stuart Fleetwood told club media “Acquiring the services of D.S.B. is massive for the club. He was pivotal to our great escape. Dave is a ruthless finisher at this level and we’re delighted to have him again at Supermarine.”

Simmo becomes the fourth player to commit to the Webbswood as Fleets continues to build the side ahead of next season.
