Tiverton Town v Marine Preview:

We open a two-game series against Tiverton Town on Saturday afternoon, as we head to the Ian Moorcroft Stadium, kick off 3pm.

Current League Positions:

Tiverton Town - 18th P9-W2-D2-L5 8pts
Marine - 22nd P10-W0-D1-L9 1Pt

Supermarine head to Devon on Saturday afternoon with the disappointing statistic of having failed to register a win in ten league games, but despite being a quarter of the way through the season, there is renewed optimism that success is just a fingertip away.

“We’ll go there with a game plan and will be aiming to come back with three-points,” Head Coach Stuart Fleetwood said as he began his preparations to the trip following Tuesday evenings game against Hungerford.

“People might look at the table at the moment and think it looks a little dire at the moment, which it does, but we’ll be looking to come away from Tiverton with something positive.”

With the limited time the new coaching team have had since arriving at the club, they’ve worked quickly to instil their values on the squad and spent Thursday evening focussing on the defensive frailties and having brought centre-back Ioan Richards in on loan from Gloucester City, they have also signed keeper Conor Brann from Swindon Town along with former Marine forward Brad Gray ahead of the trip as he looks to steer the club back to winning ways.
