After a two week wait for his international clearance Liam officially signed for Marine on the 21st September 2024 from Merthyr Town, where he had captained the side in the previous seasons and helped them finish in 6th place in the 2023/24 season. He joined Merthyr from Yate Town and before that he played for Cinderford Town, Newport County and Cardiff City.
Marine Head coach Stuart Fleetwood said after signing Liam, “Ange is a player I’ve played with and coached. He is a terrific defender at this level and he will suit our style and our club principles. He’s a real leader who will give everything to the cause. We have gained an excellent addition to an already talented squad. I’m very excited to welcome Liam to the club”.
