Marine announce new CEO
Swindon Supermarine and chairman, Jez Webb, are delighted to announce the appointment of Martin Palmer as the clubs first ever CEO. Martin began the role on February 1st and was announced last Friday night at the supporters evening.
Martin joins us from Imagine Cruising where he spent six years as Head of Marketing, and prior to this had ten years in the travel industry in varying directorial roles and nineteen years working various roles at BP and Castrol.
Martin will be here to provide full support to the players and assisting Fleets where necessary, mapping out and implementing a club development plan, increasing commercial revenues and utilising the Webbswood Stadium facilities. Martin’s role will also see him looking to increase the fan base and find ways that our fans are heard and ideas are implemented to enhance the overall fan experience.
