Tums departs he Webbswood

Swindon Supermarine and Head Coach Stuart Fleetwood can confirm that central midfielder Joe Tumelty will leave the club this summer.

After 71 appearances and 8 goals, Joe was very much part of Fleets’ plans for the new campaign, but due to work and travel commitments, he has made the difficult decision to step away from the club. A decision with which all associated with Marine are fully supportive of.

On Joe’s departure, Fleets had this to say to club media “Joe is a fantastic footballer, we are sad to see him go. He is the ultimate professional and a great person. Sometimes a work and life balance does not match up and due to this commitment Joe felt the need to move on. He leaves with all our best wishes.”

We wish to place on record our thanks and best wishes to Tums for his time and efforts in a Marine shirt, and we hope he will remember us as fondly as we will of him. Joe will always be welcome back at the Webbswood in the future.
