Central defender Malik first signed for the club on Friday 10th February 2023, joining on a month’s loan from Bristol Rovers where he was a second-year scholar. He made a solid and winning debut in the win at Beaconsfield Town twenty-four hours after first signing. He went on to make 10 appearances last season before returning to Bristol Rovers in mid-March. After his release from Rovers at the end of last season he has had a couple of trials at other clubs but returned to the Webbswood Stadium and signed for Marine in August 2023.
